Top Things to Do in Vancouver

You should start your day early morning. Because there’s a lot to cover and we have limited time. Pack everything important in your backpack, charge your phones and let’s get on with the journey. Here are some honorable mentions that you should consider:

  •         Stanley Park
  •         Canada Place
  •         Granville Island
  •         Gastown
  •         Chinatown
  •         Capilano
  •         Killer Whale Town

1: Start your day by enjoying the beautiful scenery of Stanley Park. It is an immense park in Vancouver where you can find a lot of interesting things such as totem poles and Girl in the Wetsuit (Make sure to grab a selfie with her). If you want to fully enjoy the greenery, rent a bike and ride to the seawall path. It’s a 45 minutes’ drive tops, but trust us, it’s worth it.

After this, you can ride back to Prospect point, to enjoy the freshness of nature and check out the spectacular view of North Vancouver, West Vancouver and Lions Gate Bridge.

2: From all the fun little experience, head down to Granville Island Public Market, and enjoy evening lunch. It should take you around 30 minute’s tops, depending on the traffic. The market is filled with all types of food and fresh products that you can enjoy.

3: While you’re in Granville Island, you can check out some of the best street art in Vancouver. It will surely brighten up your day. For this, you can head over to Main Street and enjoy the artwork from 4th to 14th avenue.

4: At this point, it’s past 5 and there’s still much to cover. The best location we can recommend you to go to is Gastown. It is the oldest suburb in Vancouver where you can find a lot of city’s character. Enjoy the illuminated street lamps on Water Street and visit the steam clock on Cambie Street.

5: There are plenty of restaurants in Gastown too. You can find all items of menu including gluten-free or vegan. There are plenty of bars in the area too, so if you want to relax after a busy day, it is a perfect area for bar hopping.

What more we can see?

As we’ve mentioned, Vancouver is a city that requires at least one week to fully enjoy. You can find more tips if you are planning to move to Vancouver. If you start early or have a bit adjustable time give or take, here are some other things you should consider.

Whale Watching: Seeing these magnificent creatures in life is just an unforgettable experience.

Flyover Canada: Fly over the most renowned places in Canada and see the beauty from above.

Enjoy a Canucks Game: So you’ve been to Canada and haven’t enjoyed the Canucks Game? If you’re lucky enough to be in town when the game starts, make sure to watch it.
