When it comes to bath soaps, they could last for as long as three years from the date of production. Although the majority of skin care products are safe to use even past their expiration dates, expired bath soaps may not be as effective in cleansing your body.

Just like bath soaps, expired shampoo or hair conditioners have expiration dates, too. Once you open a shampoo bottle, its contents should be used within a year and six months. For unopened shampoo bottles in storage, you must use it within three years from the production date. Expired shampoo and conditioner usually have a weird texture.

Slippers used in your home expire as well. Experts recommend that home slippers be replaced every six months; otherwise, fungal infections might spread.

Another usual home item that has an expiration date is bleach. Bleach products should be stored in rooms with temperatures between 50°F and 70F°. When stored properly, bleach may be used for as long as six months from production.

When you go shopping and items are on sale, it could be quite tempting to hoard usual stuff you need at home just like bar soap, toothpaste, or body lotion. While it seems like a wise move to hoard items for future use, you have to be wary about their expiration dates. You will want to recycle the containers that these products come in rather than throw out expired products with your local Vancouver trash collection.
